Unite Spring is a defensive Unite Morph used to dodge incoming attacks. Once bought from a Wonderful Mart, it can be used at any time by pressing ZR, as long as there are at least 10 Wonderful Ones in formation. The entire team then forms into a spring, which arcs away from the leader's current position. While the morph is active, none of its participants can be damaged in any way. The direction in which the morph bounces can be controlled by pointing the left stick in any direction; if no direction is input the morph leaps backwards (from where the leader is facing). With the correct timing, the move can be chained into itself for extended periods of uninterrupted intangibility, provided enough Unite Gauge is available.

Using Unite Spring to dodge an attack just before it hits (the timing window is currently unknown) is worth 200 combo points.

While not possible in most situations, a lone Wonderful One is capable of using an individual version of Unite Spring in certain missions. It operates in mostly the same way, though with a "rolling" animation more than a "springing" one.

Unite Drill Spring is an upgrade available for Unite Spring. It allows the morph to damage enemies it travels into.

Unite Drill Spring does drill-type damage and has a minor effect on the combo multiplier, increasing it by 0.01x per use in most cases. While it retains all its defensive characteristics, it can also be used offensively in cases where normal Unite Morphs are unusable, such as Kahkoo-Regahs with a Unite Morph limit. However, unlike other such upgrades, Unite Drill Spring's ability to damage enemies has a serious disadvantage: attempting to dodge into an armoured enemy (or even away from, if too close) will break the morph without the opportunity to recoil cancel, immediately ending its intangibility and so possibly causing instant damage to the user. As a result, it may be wise to disable Drill Spring during fights against mostly armoured enemies where the ability to deal damage is not important.
